Our Story
Our journey to founding Beyond House was sparked by a startling realization about out-of-town special events. Despite the sense of community and belonging they fostered, these events also left behind a significant amount of waste.
The logistical challenges of transporting camping equipment out-of-town often led attendees to resort to last-minute purchases upon arrival, only to dispose of these items after the event. This practice resulted in a sea of abandoned camping gear, ranging from shade covers, tents, air couches, and much more; either left on-site or discarded beside trash bins when these items could go to those in need.

This cycle not only contributed to environmental degradation but also revealed the urgent need for more sustainable practices in event programs.
Witnessing this unsustainable cycle firsthand, we were deeply moved to take action. Beyond House emerged as a response to this disposable mindset, aiming to address the root causes of waste generation at special events.
We began with the idea to introduce camping gear rentals as a proactive measure to reduce waste and promote eco-conscious choices among attendees.
Our initial focus on promoting sustainable practices revealed the immense potential for fostering communities dedicated to conscious consumption and giving back.
Recognizing the interconnectedness between sustainability and social impact, we understood that by creating conscious consumption communities, we could also contribute significantly to giving back to those in need.

As we delved deeper into our mission, Beyond House evolved into a vital connector, facilitating the redistribution of resources to support communities that require assistance the most. This journey has reinforced our commitment to creating a more sustainable and compassionate world.
